Statement of Purpose

As long as Christians await their reward, heavenly or earthly, they will ever more learn and forget Bible scriptures and their implications.  If someone finds a doctrinal error which they can document with scriptural proof, I will be grateful to correct my error.  I have made the utmost effort for this not to occur; still, I am imperfect.

My main purpose is to divulge various aspects of the Good News in accord with spirit and truth! (John 4:24, KJV)  My battle cry is stated below:

God is a Spirit:

and they that worship him

must worship him

 in spirit and in truth.

23, . . . for the Father seeketh such  to worship him.

Galatians 1:8, But even if we, or an agent from heaven, should preach a good-news to you contrary to what we preached to you, let him be accursed. (ACV)

Gal 4:16, So I have become your enemy in speaking the truth to you? (Darby)

Gal 1:10, For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? or am I striving to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ. (ASV)

Or am I seeking to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I would not be Christ's slave! (NW)

Gal 1:11, For I make known to you, brethren, as touching the gospel which was preached by me, that it is not after man. (ASV)
1 Cor 7:23, You have been bought at a price; do not be slaves now to any human being. (NJB)
Jeremiah 17:5Thus saith Jehovah: Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from Jehovah. 6For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited. 7Blessed is the man that trusteth in Jehovah, and whose trust Jehovah is (ASV)

2 Corinthians 4:2-3

But we renounce the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience, in the sight of God. 3And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost (DRC)

Mark 7:7

This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 And in vain to they worship me, teaching doctrines and precepts of men. 8For leaving the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men.  (DRC)

Let's make sure that we do not become slaves of men.  Let us always slave and be slaves for our Lord and only Owner Jesus Christ as he has paid for us with his blood. Let us follow his example in serving God by obeying his commandments. (See Jude for that phrase)

Why do I use so many translations, even crossing several language barriers to increase the available translations?

By using several Bible translations, it becomes possible to see what a scriptural concept truly means.  On occasion a word in a foreign language has no exact correspondence in the language the translator renders it.  When several different translators are compared, even going so far as to compare non-English, German, French, etc translations  – the best result is obtained; therefore, this is a must.

On occasion, Strong's Greek and Hebrew Bible dictionaries are consulted for further accuracy.
