God's Kingdom

Great confusion exist among most professed Christians as to what God's kingdom is. It seems that church teachings have become more important than the teachings of the inspired word itself.

The following will permit any truth seeker to see what God's Kingdom is, where it will be located, and the sphere of its rule. Likewise, scriptures showing who the rulers and the ruled are will be quoted.

The question about when Christ became king has its own page, on this link here: Coronation of Christ – When?

It is demonstrated there that Christ became king right after he was resurrected,in 33CE.  About that subject side issues exist that have not been treated yet anywhere on this homepage.   Issues such as, what did Christ become king of then?  when will the rest of the world experience his kingship?  (Perhaps some of this is treated on this page,
Christ's presence, his coming and revelation – are they the same?

If someone has a question about a point that is unclear to them, please feel free to ask.  Particularly, the material below may raise questions about this subject, (link)
A New Earth and New Heavens  .  If you wonder about what that means for the earth and God's kingdom, there is much fine information on that page.

As anyone can understand from the above links provided, many side issues have been discussed.  Thus which ones remain is perhaps for you to tell me, that is, if any are thought of.

Dan 2:44, And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. (ASV)
Ancient of Daysthe Almighty God Jehovah
Son of ManJesus Christ
Dan 7: 9-14, "I beheld till thrones were set, and the Ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was flames of fire, and its wheels burning fire. 10 . . . 13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like a son of man, and he came up even to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." (Darby)

Zechariah 9:9-10, " Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.*n9.1 10And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. (KJV)
Saints – Born Again, Anointed, Chosen, Select, Holy ones - who shall be resurrected to a heavenly glory
Nations – Righteous mankind surviving on earth, all survivors becoming Christian after their resurrection.

Rev 5: 8z, 9,10, "prayers of the saints. 9And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals; because thou hast been slain, and hast redeemed to God, by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, 10and made them to our God kings and priests; and they shall reign over the earth."(Darby)

Dan 7:27, and the kingdom, and the dominion, even the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens, is given to the people--the saints of the Most High, His kingdom is a kingdom age-during, and all dominions do serve and obey Him. (YLT)

The King

The Saints, the kings and priest

1. The above scriptures demonstrate that God's kingdom will crush all kingdoms presently existing.

2. God, the Ancient of days, installs his son, the son of man, Christ Jesus, as king over the Kingdom of Heavens. His dominion will be over all earth's national groups.

3. Christ, by means of his blood, has purchased, redeemed Saints. These saints will become Kings and Priests of Christ, effectively making them sub-kings and priests since Christ himself is God's appointed king and appointed High Priest.

The Earth

The earth will remain inhabited forever.

Psalm 72:7-9, In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon be no more. 8And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. 9The dwellers in the desert shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust. (Darby)

Isaiah 45:18, thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it, --not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited: --I am Jehovah, and there is none else. (Darby)

Psalm 46:8-10, Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he hath made in the earth: 9He hath made wars to cease unto the end of the earth ; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariots in the fire. 10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.(Darby)

Psalm 37:29, The righteous, shall inherit the earth, that they may settle down, to futurity, thereupon. (Rotherham)

Psalm 37:10, 11, And yet a little, and the wicked is not, And thou hast considered his place, and it is not. 11And the humble do possess the land, And they have delighted themselves In the abundance of peace. (YLT)

Matt 5:3,5, Happy, 5Happy,the destitute, in spirit; for, theirs, is the kingdom of the heavens. the meek; for, they, shall inherit the earth. (Rotherham)

Jesus himself stated that the meek shall inherit the earth; ergo, not everybody will go to heaven!  The scriptures demonstrate that the wicked will no longer be, and that the righteous, the meek, the humble will be living in eternal peace until the moon is no longer.  From this, it is clear that the ones that inherit the earth are themselves Christian or will be once their post-resurrection education has been completed.

Who are the Saints?
Who are the meek who inherit the earth?
Where will the Saints live?
